Street magic spoof video
Monday, October 29th, 2007Watch this hilarious spoof video of magician David Blaine starring Mitch Silpa (as David Blaine) and Mikey Day and Michael Naughton (as the two idiots). I guarantee you will get a laugh out of this!
I discovered David Blaine Street Magic 2 on the Funny or Die website and wanted to share it with you. If you like it make sure to check out the first video. Just a warning before you start, there is swearing in this video.
Is it me or is there an elephant in that tree?
Tuesday, October 9th, 2007I was on a walk around the bay at King George Park the other day and couldn’t believe my eyes when I came across an elephant in a tree.

He didn’t make a noise or move a muscle but, on closer inspection, I can confirm it was an elephant.

A cat pianist
Wednesday, August 15th, 2007I talked about a cat photographer called Mr Lee in a previous post and have now stumbled across a cat pianist called Nora. A truly talented feline, this piano playing cat knows her ivories. This YouTube video is the sequel to the original Nora The Piano Cat. Watching this cat play the piano is one of the most enjoyable sights I’ve seen in a while and the piano play off that Nora has with her owner/tutor is lovely. If you need a laugh then watch Nora practice the piano.
Now I want to get a piano…
A cat photographer?
Thursday, June 7th, 2007I just had to write about the Mr Lee CatCam website that I stumbled across. It takes the concept of ‘cat cam’ to the extreme.
What’s a cat-cam? A camera around a cat’s collar which takes photos every few minutes and shows the cat’s travels. It’s a real Day in the life of… by Mr Lee, the cat in question.
This particular cat owner has the technical knowledge and skills to actually put this ‘cat cam’ together and provides detailed how-to instructions on the website. For the non-technical, cat-lover types out there it’s simply worthwhile having a look at the photos - taken by the cat himself - some of them are fabulous!
What a great idea. Mr Lee’s owner was so curious as to why Mr Lee would arrive home in the evening in all manner of states that he thought he would try to document the day’s adventures. I have to say, it’s incredible how many other cats Mr Lee meets along the way…
UPDATE 25 September: I believe you can now purchase your very own ‘cat cam’ on the Mr Lee CatCam website.
